If an employee elects COBRA we will notify your insurance agent to put the employee back onto your company's plan with Anthem and your other carriers. That employee will appear on your bill until their COBRA coverage ends. You just pay the full bill as you normally would. We will bill the employee directly for the cost and will mail you the payment directly. You simply deposit that check into your bank account. You don't have to do anything else. When the employee stops paying or when COBRA coverage ends, we will tell your agent to remove the employee from your health plan, and that employee will come off of your bill. All you have to do is pay your bill and cash the check for the employee's reimbursed portion. If you have any other questions about a particular employee, call your agent and they can help you with any issues. Who do I call if I have questions or need to change coverage? You will work with your insurance agent for all of your coverage needs. They can assist you will everything from billing issues, to claims, to plan changes.
